Welcome to KJ Designs

Hello! I'm Jess Foster, the maker, designer, and creative force behind KJ Designs. Since 2020, I've been creating handcrafted home décor and textiles that bring a spark of colour, love, and warmth into your home. Every single piece is made by my hands, from the initial design right through to the finished product, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

My Story

I studied Textiles Print at degree level, specialising in screen print and digital print. That training gave me a deep understanding of how colour, texture, and pattern work together, and it's something I carry into every item I create. When I launched KJ Designs, I wanted to put that knowledge to use in a way that felt personal and meaningful: making original, handcrafted pieces that stand apart from anything you'd find on the high street.

What started as a passion project quickly became my purpose. I realised there were so many people out there, like me, who wanted their homes to feel truly theirs. Not filled with mass-produced items, but with pieces that have a story, a texture you want to reach out and touch, a colour that makes you smile every time you walk into the room.

What Makes My Work Different

Every product I make is original. My designs are inspired by the natural world, heritage architecture, and the joy of bold, expressive colour. Here's what sets KJ Designs apart:

  • Original photography and artwork form the basis of my digitally printed designs, including heritage castle imagery captured through my own lens.

  • Indoor and outdoor options, including water-resistant cushions, so you can bring that handmade character to every corner of your space.

I design, print, dye, cut, and sew everything myself. When you buy from KJ Designs, you're buying directly from the person who made it. That connection matters to me, and I hope it matters to you too.
